Job Opportunities – Data Center Project (Johor Bahru)

Our client, a leading organization in the data center construction sector, is seeking experienced professionals to join a major Data Center Project in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a high-profile mission-critical facility project and contribute to the successful delivery of a state-of-the-art data center. We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

1. Project Manager
Location: Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Project: Data Center Construction Project
Reports To: Project Director

About the Role:
The Project Manager will lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the data center project, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, cost, schedule, and statutory requirements. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to project teams and stakeholders while driving project excellence from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop project strategies and implementation plans.
Oversee project delivery, budget control, quality, safety, and scheduling.
Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimization.
Manage project risks, contractual matters, and stakeholder relationships.
Lead and mentor Construction Managers and project teams.

About the Role:

The Quality Manager (M&E) will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance, quality control, testing, and commissioning activities across all M&E systems. This role is essential to ensuring operational readiness and compliance for mission-critical systems within the data center environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain Project Quality Plans and Quality Management Systems.
Manage inspection and testing plans (ITP).
Lead testing and commissioning activities for critical M&E systems.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and vendors.
Monitor compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Review non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
Ensure proper documentation and project handover readiness.

Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
