Job Summary

The Customer Service Assistant will serve as the first point of contact for customers, primarily through phone interactions. This role is responsible for answering inquiries, handling complaints, providing accurate information, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a professional and courteous manner. The successful candidate will maintain detailed records of calls, escalate complex issues when necessary, and contribute to the company’s service quality standards. Strong communication skills, patience, and a customer-first attitude are essential to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

· Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive and helpful customer experience.

· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests mainly via phone, and follow up where necessary.

· Provide accurate information on products, services, pricing, and company policies.

· Record call details, customer feedback, and actions taken in the system accurately.

· Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.

· Make outbound calls when required (e.g., follow-ups, appointment reminders, or feedback collection).

· Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to assist customers effectively.

· Ensure call handling meets company standards in terms of courtesy, efficiency, and accuracy.

· Contribute to achieving call center/service performance targets such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

· Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business, Communications, or related field.

· Prior experience in a call center or phone-based customer service role is an advantage.

· Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin are a plus).

· Active listening skills with the ability to remain patient, calm, and professional over the phone.

· Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

· Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, call logging systems).

· Ability to work under pressure and handle high call volumes.

· Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or public holidays (if applicable).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
