Job Summary:

Lead our dynamic sourcing team at a premier cable manufacturing facility. Drive strategic procurement initiatives to secure high-quality materials at optimal costs while ensuring seamless supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies aligned with production needs.
• Supplier Management: Evaluate, negotiate with, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Team Leadership: Train and mentor the sourcing team, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards.
• Cost Optimization: Achieve year-over-year cost reductions through data-driven sourcing and inventory management (JIT, VMI, Kanban).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, engineering, and materials teams to generate RFQs and manage BOMs.
• Risk Mitigation: Monitor market trends, implement contingency plans, and expedite deliveries to prevent production delays.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to procurement policies and maintain accurate documentation.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience: 8+ years in procurement (aerospace, semiconductor, or industrial sectors), with expertise in cable/harness raw materials.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and contract negotiation.
• Soft Skills: Strong communicator (English/Spanish a plus), analytical thinker, and team player.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
