Job Description – Head of Clinic Operations

Position: Head of Clinic Operations

Job Summary

The Head of Clinic Operations is responsible for leading and managing the operational performance of the Group's clinic operations (GP Clinics & Specialist Clinics). This role oversees day-to-day clinical operations, drives operational excellence, ensures regulatory compliance, and works closely with doctors to strengthen engagement, improve service delivery, and support business growth. The incumbent will act as the key liaison between management and medical practitioners to foster collaboration and achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the operational management of all clinic services to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality healthcare service delivery.
• Responsible for full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility of all clinics
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures to improve clinic performance.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with doctors through effective engagement, communication, and collaboration.
• Partner with medical practitioners to improve patient care, clinic productivity, and service standards.
• Support doctor recruitment, onboarding, retention, scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies.
• Work closely with clinic administrators to address operational challenges and optimize manpower and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, Business Development, Marketing, and Quality Assurance to achieve organizational goals.
• Drive patient experience initiatives and service quality improvements across all clinics.
• Lead operational projects, clinic expansion initiatives, and process improvement programs.
• Prepare monthly operational reports, business performance updates, and recommendations for senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. A master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in healthcare operations, with significant exposure to primary care or outpatient clinic management.
• Proven experience managing multiple clinic operations and leading operational teams.
• Strong understanding of primary healthcare operations, healthcare regulations, and clinical governance.
• Excellent doctor engagement and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted professional relationships.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Good business acumen with experience in operational planning and performance management.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and healthcare management systems.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
