Our client is a growing plantation and agriculture company based in Raub, Pahang. The company specializes in durian cultivation (including premium Musang King varieties) and palm oil plantation management, leveraging sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural techniques to maximize yield and quality.

The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of plantation operations, ensuring optimal productivity, quality control, and cost efficiency across both durian and palm oil estates. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge in agriculture and the ability to manage field teams effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the durian plantation.
• Develop and implement farm management plans, including planting, fertilization, irrigation, and harvesting schedules
• Monitor crop health, pest control, and disease management
• Ensure optimal yield and quality of produce, particularly for premium durian varieties
• Manage and supervise farm workers, contractors, and supervisors
• Track operational costs, budgets, and resource allocation
• Implement and improve sustainable and modern farming practices
• Liaise with suppliers, agronomists, and relevant authorities
• Ensure compliance with local agricultural regulations and safety standards
• Prepare regular reports on farm performance, yield forecasts, and operational updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Plantation Management, Agronomy, or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in plantation or farm management (durian and/or palm oil preferred)
• Strong knowledge of tropical crop management, pest control, and soil management
• Proven experience managing large-scale plantations and field workers
• Hands-on, results-driven, and able to work in a rural environment
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is an added advantage

Remuneration:

• Competitive salary package (RM6K – RM8K)
