Job description

We are looking for a Demand Planning Executive to accompany its fast growth in Malaysia with manufacturing as a core business, the Demand Planning Executive will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Allocation of stock produced to Delivery Order based on customer specification
• Preparation of Stuffing checklist for warehouse team
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing to on sales order (SO) and sales transfer orders (STO) to ensure the accuracy of latest data in SAP system.
• Ensure allocation between entities correctly reflected and keep respective team updated on their allocation.
• Attend to demand related enquiries e.g. additional demand, prompt sales etc. in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure sufficient supply of additives and packaging materials to production through material requirement planning (MRP) execution based on firmed production plans, planned order and retrigger points.
• Timely placement of purchase requisition in the SAP system-based on S&OP cycle
• Maintaining an optimum inventory level for additives and packaging materials with minimal write offs.
• Follow up daily production output and communicate with Logistics and Sales & Marketing team on any production delay and product on hold due to quality issue.
• Closely monitor PSS requirements to ensure stocks or lot readiness.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Business, Supply chain or similar relevant field.
• Must have at least 1-3 years hands on experience in demand/material/supply planning
• Advanced in Microsoft Offices, especially Excel
• Preferable experience in SAP system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
