Tugas dan tanggungjawab juruteknik ATM meliputi berbagai aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan penyelenggaraan, pembaikan, dan pengurusan mesin ATM. Berikut adalah beberapa tugas utama:

• Melakukan pemeriksaan berkala untuk memastikan mesin ATM berfungsi dengan baik.
• Membersihkan dan menyelenggara komponen dalaman dan luaran mesin.
• Memastikan bekalan kertas dan dakwat mencukupi.
• Mendiagnosis dan membaiki kerosakan pada mesin ATM, seperti masalah dispenser wang, skrin, atau papan kekunci.
• Menggantikan komponen yang rosak atau haus.
• Menyelesaikan isu berkaitan dengan perisian atau rangkaian.
• Mengisi semula wang tunai ke dalam mesin ATM.
