TikTok Live Host cum Sales

Department: Sales & Marketing
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reporting To: Sales & Marketing Manager / General Manager
Salary: RM2,200 – RM3,000 per month (based on experience)
Working Location: Seri Cempaka Eman Sdn. Bhd.

JOB PURPOSE

The TikTok Live Host cum Sales is responsible for representing Seri Cempaka Eman Sdn. Bhd. during TikTok Live sessions, engaging with viewers, introducing and demonstrating company products, answering customer enquiries and converting viewers into customers.

The position is also responsible for supporting the company's social commerce activities and achieving assigned live-streaming and sales targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. TikTok LIVE Hosting

• Conduct regular TikTok Live sessions according to the company's approved schedule.
• Present products confidently, naturally and professionally in front of the camera.
• Introduce and explain product features, benefits, prices, promotions and usage.
• Engage actively with viewers through comments, questions and interactive activities.
• Maintain an energetic, friendly and professional personality throughout the Live session.
• Encourage viewers to follow, interact, add to cart and purchase products.
• Handle basic customer objections and questions during Live.

2. Product Knowledge & Sales

• Learn and understand the company's products, including:
• Nursery plants
• Indoor and outdoor plants
• Fertilizers
• Gardening products
• Florist products
• Flower arrangements
• Decoration products
• Landscaping-related products and services
• Understand product benefits, pricing, promotions and suitable applications.
• Recommend suitable products according to customer needs.
• Cross-sell and upsell relevant products during Live sessions.
• Ensure product information provided to customers is accurate.

3. Sales Target

• Achieve monthly TikTok Live sales targets set by the company.
• Work towards improving:
• Gross Merchandise Value (GMV)
• Number of orders
• Conversion rate
• Average order value
• Viewer engagement
• Follower growth
• Support promotional campaigns and sales campaigns organised by the company.

4. Content & Social Media Support

• Assist in creating short-form videos for TikTok and other social media platforms when required.
• Participate in product demonstrations, promotional videos and campaign content.
• Suggest ideas for TikTok content, Live topics, promotions and customer engagement.
• Stay updated with relevant TikTok trends, formats and content styles.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to plan Live content.

5. Live Preparation

• Study products and promotions before each Live session.
• Prepare talking points, product sequence and promotional information.
• Ensure products displayed during Live are properly prepared and presented.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing and Nursery/Operation teams for product availability.
• Ensure the Live area is clean, organised and suitable for broadcasting.

6. Customer Engagement

• Respond to customer comments and enquiries professionally.
• Build a positive relationship with viewers and followers.
• Encourage repeat customers and customer engagement.
• Escalate complicated customer enquiries or complaints to the relevant department.

7. Reporting

• Record daily/weekly Live performance.
• Monitor sales generated from each Live session.
• Provide feedback on customer questions, product demand and market trends.
• Submit Live performance reports to the immediate supervisor.
• Participate in monthly KPI/performance reviews.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)

Performance will be assessed based on:

• Monthly TikTok Live Sales / GMV
• Number of Live sessions completed
• Average sales per Live session
• Conversion rate
• Number of orders generated
• Average order value
• Viewer engagement

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as TikTok Live Host, Sales Promoter, Retail Sales or Customer Service is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Confident and comfortable appearing in front of the camera.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to speak Bahasa Malaysia clearly and confidently.
• Basic English communication is an advantage.
• Energetic, friendly, positive and outgoing personality.
• Strong interest in sales and social media.
• Willing to learn about plants, fertilizers, flowers, decoration and landscaping products.
• Able to work according to Live streaming schedules, including selected evenings, weekends or public holidays when required.
