Sales Assistant F&B at Supermarket Mercato Light City, Gelugor Penang

Job Purpose

To assist in daily F&B operations, food preparation, customer service and maintaining cleanliness, product quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food and beverage preparation, packing and serving.
• Provide friendly customer service and attend to customer enquiries.
• Handle cashiering and payment transactions, where applicable.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock replenishment and stock take.
• Ensure food products are properly stored, displayed and labelled.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, equipment and utensils.
• Follow food safety requirements and company SOPs.
• Assist in daily outlet operations and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous F&B or retail experience is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
