Jawatan Kosong IT Support Intern Technical in Batu Kawan

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated IT Intern with a strong interest in networking and technical support. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and eager to gain hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and end-user support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system, application, and connectivity problems.
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of PCs, laptops, servers, and networking devices.
• Manage IT asset system (Snipe-IT) and ticketing system (Hesk).
• Troubleshoot IT issues with desktops, laptops, printers, projectors/beamers, and other networked/collaboration devices.
• Install and configure new IT laptops/desktops, ensuring proper setup and timely delivery.
• Provide timely updates on hardware installations and IT issue resolutions.
• Support end-users on hardware and software-related problems via phone, email, or in-person.
• Collaborate with the IT team on various projects, preventive and corrective maintenance, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Computer Science, IT Hardware, Networking, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and IT troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VLAN, trunking, cabling, switches, routers, wireless APs).
• Knowledge of server environments (Windows/Linux) and cloud services is an advantage.
• Security awareness and understanding of IT best practices.
• Strong passion for technology, enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Preferred Skills/Certifications (Advantage):

• Networking: CCNA, CompTIA Network+
• Server & Systems: MCSA, CompTIA Server+, Linux+
• Security & Infrastructure: CompTIA Security+, macOS Support Essentials
