We are looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Coordinator to manage the administrative and coordination functions of the Housekeeping Department. This role is the communication hub of the department — handling guest room status updates, liaising with Front Office and Engineering, tracking lost & found, and maintaining accurate records to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and coordinate all incoming calls/requests to the Housekeeping Department, dispatching tasks to room attendants and supervisors
• Update and monitor room status in the hotel PMS in real time — vacant, occupied, clean, dirty, out-of-order, etc.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office on room readiness, early check-ins, late check-outs, and VIP arrivals
• Liaise with Engineering on maintenance requests and follow up on completion status
• Maintain accurate records of lost & found items in line with SOP, including guest correspondence and item release
• Prepare and maintain housekeeping reports (occupancy, discrepancy reports, attendance, supply usage)
• Manage and track inventory of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies; raise purchase/store requisitions as needed
• Maintain filing systems, checklists, and departmental correspondence
• Support the Executive Housekeeper/Supervisors with scheduling, attendance tracking, and general administrative duties
• Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in handling guest-related information

Requirements

• Minimum SPM/Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 1–2 years' experience in a similar coordinator/administrative role, preferably in a hotel Housekeeping department
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with hotel PMS is an advantage
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong attention to detail
• Able to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written)

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
