• Monitor and enforce compliance with environmental regulations and permits related to construction activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential environmental violations and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop mitigation strategies to minimize adverse effects on ecosystems, water bodies, air quality, and biodiversity.
• Prepare comprehensive environmental impact reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.
• Engage with local communities, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to provide information about the environmental aspects of earthwork construction projects.
• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans for construction sites.
• Develop strategies to manage construction waste, promote recycling, and reduce resource consumption during construction activities.
• Monitor waste disposal practices and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Design erosion and sediment control measures to prevent soil erosion, sediment runoff, and water pollution during construction activities.
• Oversee the implementation of erosion control practices on construction sites.
• Any other assigned duties and responsibilities from time to time.
