• Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities, prices, and quality.

• Creating and processing purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels.

• Coordinating with other departments, such as finance, IT, admin & halal and operations to ensure seamless procurement processes.
• Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting demand to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
• Implementing inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
• Ensuring purchased products and materials meet quality standards and specifications.
• Handling issues related to defective or non-conforming goods and working with suppliers to resolve them.
• Maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information.
• Generating reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or supplier financial instability.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement function.
