Jawatan Kosong Traffic Management Officer TMO in Bachok

Job Description:

• Develop and implement a TMP tailored to the project’s location and phase.
• Ensure the TMP is approved by relevant authorities (e.g., JKR, PDRM, Local Council such as MPKB-BRI).
• Supervise the setup of traffic cones, signboards, mobile traffic lights, and safety barriers.
• Ensure all equipment used complies with JKR standards and safety guidelines.
• Ensure smooth and safe traffic movement around the project site.
• Manually control traffic if necessary, especially during critical works such as paving or utility relocations.
• Protect site workers from traffic-related hazards.
• Ensure diversion routes are clearly marked and provide early warning to road users.
• Prepare daily or weekly reports on traffic conditions and safety measures.
• Communicate closely with the Site Engineer, Safety Officer, and local authorities.
• Respond to feedback or complaints from road users regarding traffic congestion or safety concerns near the site.

Requirements:

• Diploma in civil engineering or construction or related is an added advantage.

Certifications:

• Valid Traffic Management Plan (TMP) certificate (JKR/CIDB recognized).
• CIDB Green Card (mandatory).
• Experience:
• Prior experience in roadwork or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Skills:

• Able to read and interpret traffic plans and site instructions.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Firm and alert in ensuring safety compliance.

Working hour:

• Sunday to Thursday
• 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,800.00 per month
