Job Description:

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment as per the maintenance plan.
• Conducting inspections, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or faulty components.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and technical issues under the guidance of Maintenance HOD / Engineers.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including performed repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage.
• Assist with equipment repairs, both mechanical and electrical, to ensure timely resolution of breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
• Conducting tests and trials after maintenance or repairs to ensure proper functioning of the machinery.
• Responsible for building maintenance.
• Keep the maintenance workshop and work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer and purchasing unit to maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and consumables needed for maintenance tasks.
• Support ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Chargeman B0.
• Proven mechanical and electrical skills are essential.
• Experience as maintenance technician in the food or dairy industry, particularly with milk powder production equipment, is a plus.
