Job Description

• Carry out and execute routine preventive maintenance schedules and promptly respond to equipment and machinery faults. This includes diagnosing machinery breakdowns and performing immediate corrective actions to prevent further productivity loss
• Maintain all maintenance records, diligently updating them to ensure accuracy and reliability for east retrieval and analysis
• Implement and monitor scheduled maintenance work and preventive maintenance programs for machinery and utilities
• Perform daily maintenance activities on plant machinery and equipment to meet food safety requirement, prevent contamination and reduce the potential for breakdowns.
• Perform tasks while adhering to work safety requirements and upholding food safety guidelines
• Practice good housekeeping of maintenance tools to ensure they are safe for use and to prevent unnecessary wastage or replacement
• Participate in and support installation, upgrading, renovation and ad hoc projects
• Participate in and support continuous improvement initiatives, practice 5S and good housekeeping, and apply root cause analysis to identify potential causes of breakdowns
• Continuously learn maintenance techniques for newly acquired or installed machinery and equipment
• Perform duties in complying with Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Environment Guidelines, Company’s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company’s Policy and Procedures, etc by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.
• Perform task and work requirements as and when required and assigned

Job Requirement

• A Certificate (SKM/MLVK) or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Enginering or an equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field. Possesses working experience on basic electrical system, repair and service utilities such as air handling units (AHUs), chillers, cooling towers, air compressors and generators
• Repair and service process pumps and valves
• Preventive maintenance of UHT equipment and filling machines including cleaning, lubrication, calibration and replacement of parts such as gaskets, seals and valves is considered an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
