Jawatan Kosong Document Controller in Kuala Lumpur

We are seeking an experienced BMS Technical and Documentation Engineer to support the implementation, testing, commissioning, integration, and documentation of Building Management Systems for data-centre projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review BMS specifications, drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, points lists and sequences of operation.
• Coordinate BMS installation involving controllers, sensors, actuators, control panels, meters and other field devices.
• Conduct point-to-point testing, loop checking, functional testing, alarm verification and system commissioning.
• Verify equipment status, alarms, interlocks, command controls, trends, setpoints and operating sequences.
• Support the integration of BMS equipment and third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus and other relevant protocols.
• Troubleshoot BMS hardware, controller programming, network communication and system-integration issues.
• Support functional performance testing and witness testing with clients, consultants and commissioning agents.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, M&E contractors, vendors and commissioning teams.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, material availability, technical issues and testing schedules.
• Maintain records of outstanding works, defects, technical queries and commissioning issues until closure.
• Ensure completed installation and testing activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

Data-Centre Systems Knowledge

The candidate should have practical experience integrating and commissioning BMS monitoring and controls for systems including:

• CRAC and CRAH units
• AHUs and FCUs
• Chillers, pumps and cooling towers
• Electrical switchboards and power-monitoring systems
• Generators, UPS systems and associated alarms
• Fuel storage and distribution systems
• Fire-protection and life-safety interfaces
• Water-leak detection and environmental-monitoring systems
• Other mechanical and electrical systems associated with data-centre operations

Documentation Responsibilities

The candidate shall prepare, review, maintain and compile:

• Method statements and work procedures
• Inspection and testing plans
• Material and technical submissions
• Request for Inspection and approval records
• Point-to-point and loop-checking records
• Testing and commissioning forms
• Alarm, interlock and functional-testing reports
• BMS points lists and integration registers
• Progress reports and issue-tracking logs
• Redline drawings and as-built documentation
• Operation and maintenance manuals
• Training materials and attendance records
• Testing, commissioning and handover dossiers
• Defect and outstanding-work close-out records

All documentation must be accurate, traceable, properly version-controlled and suitable for client, consultant and commissioning-agent review.

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Building Services, Automation or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum three years of relevant BMS project experience.
• Proven experience working on data-centre projects.
• Strong understanding of BMS controllers, panels, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and common BMS communication protocols.
• Practical experience in BMS installation, testing, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, points lists, control schematics and sequences of operation.
• Strong technical-writing, reporting, document-control and record-management skills.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple site and documentation activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Niagara, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Johnson Controls or equivalent BMS platforms.
• CIDB Green Card.
• Relevant site-safety, testing, commissioning or manufacturer certifications.

Pay: RM1,815.13 - RM4,876.47 per month
