Jawatan Kosong Executive, Maintenance Hospitality in Kuantan

Job Summary:

Performs, manages and supervises the Maintenance operation on exterior and interior facilities including electric, refrigeration, plumbing, heating, cooling, structural and other Maintenance work necessary to maintain the property in optimum and efficient condition. Also, ensures the safety and comfort of the guest and employees.

Job Requirement:
1. Experience in daily Maintenance operation (have hospitality background).

2. Able to work under pressure and shift work.

Standard Job Responsibilities:

1. Manages and administers the entire Engineering Department, such as heat, power and light, including refrigeration and ventilating equipment.

2. Reports and recommends to the management concerning the best way on effective utilization of heat, light, power and proper application of repair, preventive Maintenance plans and procedures compatible with operational requirements and expenditures involving alterations and improvements of mechanical equipment.

3. Co-ordinates and direct the staff in operating and maintaining the mechanical plant and building.

4. Conducts regular meetings with Department Heads to review methods and procedures, plans for charges and co-ordinates special projects.

5. Inspects the engineering rooms, service rooms, and chiller plant rooms, guestrooms and the entire building installations according to the schedule.

6. Maintains all distribution systems for electricity, gas, refrigerant and air-condition, steam, cold and hot water.

7. Conducts continuing inspection of buildings and grounds, to ensure compliance with fire and safety laws, BCD regulations, governmental regulations and local codes of practice.

8. Assists in drafting out the Fire Safety Program of the Hotel.

9. Responsible for implementation of Policies & Procedures (P&P), Standard Operation Procedures (S.O.P) in operations.

Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks:

1. Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.

2. Works closely with all departments in ensuring guest’s satisfaction.

3. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel management team.

4. Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

5. Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.

6. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
