Jawatan Kosong Global Tax Center - Tax Analyst in Kuala Lumpur

Our Global Tax Centre Team provides support for the business in technical tax accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls. This is including process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Partner with the best

You will support various tax jurisdictions for APAC Region and will be responsible for proactively managing and clearing outstanding balances in the AR Withholding Tax account. You will collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure timely collection and issuance of AR Withholding Tax certificates.

As a Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing and reconcile aged balances in the AR Withholding Tax account.

• Researching and identify the root cause of outstanding balances.

• Communicating effectively with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Finance) to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all AR Withholding Tax activities.

• Staying informed on relevant tax regulations and procedures related to AR Withholding Tax.

• Identifying opportunities to improve AR Withholding Tax certificates collection processes.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have education background in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field. Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage

• Have minimum 2 year Indirect Tax/ other taxes experience for any tax jurisdiction.

• Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.

• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English.

• Be results oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to work solo and remotely.
