Retail Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the retail outlet to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Deliver excellent customer service by providing professional advice and resolving customer enquiries or concerns.
• Supervise and support retail staff, ensuring high standards of customer service and productivity.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee cashiering operations, including cash handling, card transactions, and daily sales reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock replenishment, and ensure accurate stock management.
• Ensure products are properly merchandised and displayed according to company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Pharmacy, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of retail supervisory or team leadership experience. Experience in the pharmacy or healthcare retail industry is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with the ability to handle enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
