Jawatan Kosong Production Supervisor in Klang

To lead, supervise, and optimize the daily manufacturing activities of the liquid filter production line. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production that meets customer specifications, delivery schedules, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Daily Production Management & Supervision:

• Plan, assign, and direct daily work activities for the production team
• Ensure production schedules and work orders are executed on time and in full (OTIF).
• Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement immediate corrective actions.
• Oversee the set-up, operation, and changeover of production equipment (setting parameters)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S principles).
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Ensure traceability of materials, batches, and finished goods.

B. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure all products are manufactured to exact specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• Perform in-process quality checks and oversee final product.
• Manage non-conforming product (quarantine, root cause analysis, disposition).
• Support quality audits and implement corrective actions from quality reports.

C. Team Leadership & Development:

• Train, coach, and mentor production staff on processes, safety, and quality.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and address personnel issues.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Manage timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling (including overtime as needed).

D. Safety & Environmental:

• Be the safety leader on the floor. Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Conduct regular safety talks and inspections. Investigate incidents and near-misses.
• Ensure proper handling of materials (e.g., yarn, cores and packaging materials) in compliance with environmental regulations.

E. Continuous Improvement & Administration:

• Identify and lead/participate in process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to reduce waste, improve yield, and lower costs.
• Manage production metrics (efficiency, OEE, scrap, downtime). Report on daily/weekly production performance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and consumables at the point of use. Assist with cycle counts.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain departments.
