AVAILABLE POSITION

Kitchen Supervisor

Lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain food quality and safety standards, and deliver the authentic KyoChon experience in every meal.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kitchen Operations

• Prepare food and beverages according to company standards and authentic Korean recipes.
• Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and efficient service.
• Train and guide kitchen team members on food preparation, handling procedures, and menu standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with company SOPs and quality standards.

Inventory & Food Control

• Manage kitchen inventory and monitor stock levels to minimize food wastage.
• Report food quality issues, equipment problems, or stock shortages to the Assistant Kitchen Manager or Outlet Manager.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, dishwashing, and cold storage areas, taking immediate corrective action where necessary.

Food Safety & Hygiene

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Ensure proper kitchen closing procedures are completed according to the station closing checklist.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
• Ensure all kitchen staff comply with company uniform, grooming, and appearance standards.

Team Leadership

• Assist in preparing weekly work schedules for kitchen team members.
• Coach, motivate, and support team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Assistant Kitchen Manager or Outlet Manager to support restaurant operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a casual dining restaurant.
• Mature, responsible, and possess strong leadership skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
