About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Kufong Therapy Centre Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and financial support to our organization, with a focus on management accounting and budgeting.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Developing and maintaining detailed financial models and budgets to support strategic decision-making
• Monitoring and reporting on financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and providing recommendations for improvement
• Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support operational initiatives
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar management accounting or financial analysis role, preferably within the healthcare or service industry
• Proficient in the use of financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information for non-financial stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Familiarity with Malaysian accounting standards and regulations
• We are seeking for female candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
