Jawatan Kosong Transfer Pricing Lead in Bangsar South
Overview
rhi is currently recruiting for an experience Transfer Pricing Lead to join our clients team based in KL, Malaysia, on a contract until 31st Jan 2026 (no possible extension for maternity cover). This role is to support the management of policies and controls, manage complex and escalated operational issues across transfer pricing services, perform in-depth troubleshooting and support operational delivery, quality management and control.
Working arrangement will be hybrid (60/40; 3 days in office, 2 days WFH), first 1 month required to be 100% onsite

Responsibilities:
Functional
- Main lead for medium to high complexity transfer pricing projects or special projects assigned, ad hoc transfer pricing queries.
- Preparation of transfer pricing documentation, implementing processes and procedures on a global and country specific basis.
- Manage and support the annual delivery of transfer pricing local files that comply with local requirements including working with professional advisors.
- Working with Finance/Accounting teams to ensure that transfer pricing policies are fully understood and robustly applied, through review and implementation of joint processes.
- Work closely with our client’s Tax’s Transfer Pricing Network to:
- Reconcile the group’s transfer pricing methods and help to support the ongoing maintenance and implementation of the group’s head office recharge mechanisms and other intragroup transactions;
- Help maintain our client's transfer pricing policies, and develop procedures and documentation, and customising these for specific transfer pricing regimes;
- Ensure the performance and documentation of internal controls in accordance with our client’s transfer pricing processes.
- Lead contact and interface for in-country tax advisor, our client’s business and finance.
Service Management and Continuous Improvement
- Provide technical analyst and/or feedback regarding the impact of regulatory changes, projects, system upgrades or modifications to support the development of targeted responses, enhanced processes and systems focused on quality, control and compliance.
- Assist Team Lead in addressing process gaps, identify inefficiencies and help embed a continuous improvements culture in the organisation, which include transfer pricing processes or joint processes with Business / Tax / Finance to ensure robustness in the implementation of transfer pricing policies.
Qualifications
About you
Education and Experience
- A university degree or professional qualification, in economics, accountancy or its equivalent. A tax qualification is advantageous.
- Membership with the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia or Australian &/or UK &/or US equivalent is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 - 6 years’ post qualification with Transfer Pricing experience.
- Minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience in leading, developing and coaching teams.
- Experience with IFRS &/or SAP is advantageous.
Preferred Criteria
- Good knowledge of transfer pricing, corporate tax and accounting principles.
- Analytical with good problem-solving skills, adaptable to work in different environment and a team player.
- Good communication skills are required to interface at all levels in the business community, with Tax and with external parties.
- A proven ability to work as part of multi disciplinary teams and to build and maintain network within and outside Tax.
- Takes leadership and ownership of and accountability of the work product.
- Good level of competency with tax or transfer pricing technology tools, Microsoft Office suite of products including Power BI and sharepoint, online collaboration tools, and workflow tools.
- Good command of English language, both written and oral.
