JOB DESCRIPTION — PERSONAL DRIVER

• To drive Director/Director’s family members to/from office/residential or other destination as authorized by the MD
• Plan route and transport the Executive Directors (and/or any other person as instructed by the Executive Director) to ensure safe and timely transportation to destination.
• Required to drive long hours, weekends and public holiday as authorized.
• Perform simple maintenance work on the assigned vehicles, cleaning vehicle’s interior and exterior parts, setting schedule to send vehicle to automobile shops for repair and regular maintenance, conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle maintenance, reporting damage to ensure the vehicle is clean, free of damage and in rood worthy condition.
• Follow all safety measures while driving including observing speed limits, obey all traffic and road signs, avoiding dangerous behavior such as answering to mobile phone to ensure safety of passenger(s) and full compliance with traffic rules and regulation.
• Present at all places punctually as may be stipulated or directed by the Executive Director all time during working hours, and on stand-by time slot as designated by on-call schedule.
• Perform all duties assigned honestly, diligently and professionally, as well as keeping passenger’s information strictly confidential at all times to maintain passenger confidence.
• Check validity of car road tax, insurance, club memberships, etc.
• Execute other assigned tasks immediately and professionally.

JOB REQUIREMENT :

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle being operated.
• Clean driving record with no history of traffic violations or accidents.
• Previous experience as a driver preferred, especially in a commercial or transportation setting.
• Knowledge of local roads, highways, and traffic patterns.
• Ability to read maps, follow GPS directions, and navigate efficiently.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
