Jawatan Kosong J - Showroom Sales Executive in Simpang Ampat

Denver Auto Sdn. Bhd. (BYD Dealer) is looking for a Warranty & Body & Paint Officer to join our After Sales team in Perai, Penang.

This role is responsible for managing BYD warranty claims and Body & Paint (B&P) processes in accordance with BYD Malaysia warranty requirements, including documentation, insurance/claim coordination, repair progress monitoring, and coordination with the Workshop, Parts, Service Advisor, and relevant external parties.

Role Description

Warranty Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit BYD warranty claims.
• Check Repair Orders and supporting documents.
• Follow up on claim status, approvals, and rejected claims.
• Correct and resubmit claims when required.
• Coordinate warranty parts and warranty parts return.
• Keep warranty records updated.
• Follow BYD warranty procedures, campaigns, and recalls.

Body & Paint Responsibilities

• Coordinate Body & Paint repair cases from vehicle intake until completion.
• Prepare quotations, estimates, photographs, and supporting documents.
• Handle insurance claim coordination with insurance companies, adjusters, workshops, and customers.
• Follow up on insurance approvals and repair authorisation.
• Monitor repair progress, parts availability, and pending cases.
• Coordinate with the Service Advisor, Workshop, Parts Department, and B&P team.
• Update customers and relevant departments on repair and claim status.
• Ensure all documents are complete before vehicle handover.
• Obtain approval from the After Sales Manager for quotations, supplementary repairs, and other matters requiring approval.

General Responsibilities

• Act as the PIC for daily Warranty and B&P matters.
• Ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and properly filed.
• Follow company, BYD, warranty, and insurance procedures.
• Work closely with the After Sales and Workshop teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Perform other duties assigned by the After Sales Manager or Management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in automotive after-sales, warranty, Body & Paint, insurance claims, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of automotive repair, Body & Paint, warranty, and insurance claim processes.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Computer literate with good documentation and follow-up skills.
• Organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple cases.
• EV or BYD warranty experience is an advantage.
• Experience in Body & Paint or insurance claims is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
